Incredibly nice stay! We stayed for 4 nights for a local dog show. Location was very easy, and layout of Suites was very convenient to outside exits. Greatly appreciated the designated dog area complete with bags and garbage holder. Very helpful and considerate. Rooms, hallways exercise room and laundry were extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchens were equipped with everything needed for our short stay including toaster, microwave, and any other appliance to use if asked. So nice to have a clean laundry on site. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with a faucet and heater, they immediately had someone (Oscar) come up to investigate and he promptly and courteously handled our needs. Because of this experience we will seek out Sonesta stays in the future. Thank you!
I need to stay at a hotel every 6 weeks for work. Found this gem and couldn't be happier. Staff, room and price all get top scores. Will stay here again and highly recommended.
Heidi (spelling?) was the highlight of my stay. As an attendant, I’ve never met a kinder individual. My baby was having a surgery in the area, which was why we were staying here. Not only did she offer to help me carry all of mine and my baby’s things in and to our room, she checked in on how my son was doing after the surgery. The room was a nice size for us and was fairly clean. The bed was comfy, which is always a plus. It was very nice to have a whole kitchen since I had my baby with me. The room came stocked with everything we needed as well. If I need to come back to the area, I’ll definitely be staying here again!
Absolutely beautiful room with every amenity available!! I wish we had stayed for a week as the kitchen was perfect!! Lovely area to stay in, lots of shopping near by for whatever you might need. The young ladies that helped us at the desk were so personable and polite. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again! Wish there was a breakfast available for the one night stay-ers tho!
Lia provided WONDERFUL customer service both times I talked with her today. Once over the phone in the morning when I asked for some information, and again when we checked in after a long day of travel. She maintained her awesome attitude even while contending with a downed computer system. Later in the evening we encountered another woman who was equally kind but I didn't catch her name! Clearly they have the right people working the front desk and people who deserve to be valued for their hard work!
My husband and I got the 1 bedroom suite. As we both needed private space to work. This space afforded what we needed. The room is showing some age a bit. But was minor. The room was exceptionally clean! The kitchen was a great set up, but could have used a few more utensils. The staff was kind and the workout facility well appointed.
The room was basically an apartment with everything you could possibly need besides an oven- full kitchen, beds and bedding were very comfortable, the TV in the room was really nice and on a movable wall mount, and the heat & water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. Plus the staff were very kind and courteous! And the roads around the place were always not very busy, so getting in and out of the place was easy every time. The only "downside" (and I put that in quotes because it's not a big deal) was you can hear the plumbing when nearby rooms are using the bath/shower, and you can't connect a PS5 to the wi-fi because you have to log in to connect and the PS5 doesn't have a web browser. Can't wait to stay here again!
Place was great! I mean it’s not a high end hotel but it’s great for what it is supposed to be. It’s a lot better than the Hampton or red roof etc. stayed there for a two day six flags trip. Has a full mini kitchen with plates and pans and fridge. I mean I don’t know but I would stay here on the road or for a day or two. I had an issue with my first room. And the lady at the front desk switched our room. Bed was very comfortable for the class of hotel. The one in Waukegan has more food options close but this is quiet and nice. Oh also allows dogs
